Refund & Revocation Policy
All Credentials are the sole property of GENSIX. GENSIX may, in its sole discretion and at any time determined by GENSIX, cancel, revoke or refuse from any individual or company the following: Credentials, purchases, and/or hotel reservations made through GENSIX Housing. GENSIX will not be responsible for any penalty, fee, loss, or expense that might result from such action.
GENSIX issues no refunds under any circumstances. Any and all payments made to GENSIX are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to use GENSIX Credentials due to illness, acts of God, travel-related problems, acts of terrorism, loss of employment and/or duplicate purchases. GENSIX will not issue refunds for Credentials that have been revoked.
Unused Credentials have no monetary value and cannot be credited to future years or events. GENSIX will not issue refunds or credits due to failure to redeem.
Use of Credentials
Credentials will need to be purchased for a Participant’s continued access to the Events, including showcases, parties and conference content. Use of a Credential by anyone other than the authorized individual will result in revocation of the Credential without any refund.
GENSIX Credentials are issued to, can be picked up by, and used by only the individual named in the registration. GENSIX Credentials are non-transferable after they have been picked up. GENSIX badges allow the badge holder entry to specific defined events, but cannot guarantee admission to every GENSIX event. Event admission is subject to venue capacity and age restrictions in compliance with state and local laws. Age restrictions are specific to each venue.
GENSIX Credentials may not be used as a prize in any form of promotion, contest, game, or sweepstakes without written pre-approval from GENSIX.
Lost & Found
Lost and Found will be located at Registration during the Events. Participants can drop off found items at the Registration Help Desks during the Events. Participants can also email a description of an item and the location it was lost/found to email@example.com. After sixty (60) days following the event, unclaimed lost and found items may be disposed of in GENSIX’s discretion.
Photographs and/or audio/video recordings taken at the Events by GENSIX, or others on behalf of GENSIX, may include a Participant’s image, name, voice and/or likeness. By attending and/or participating in the Events, each Participant hereby grants GENSIX permission to use the Participant’s photograph, image, likeness, voice and statements for any purpose, including but not limited to commercial purposes, without compensation or credit to the Participant, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised.

Event Participants agree to the GENSIX Code of Conduct. GENSIX reserves the right, without refund, to revoke the Credentials of Participants whose conduct violates the Code of Conduct.
GENSIX EVENTS are not a place for conversations, discussions, and behavior that are intentionally inappropriate, off-topic, disruptive, or abusive. GENSIX defines inappropriate behavior as any form of verbal or physical abuse, the use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or actions, any form of harassment, racism, sexism, or any other targeted comments which are intended to cause personal offense to another GENSIX participant either in-person at the event, or the violation of any local or state laws.
GENSIX may take action in its discretion against any individual(s) or group(s) it believes fail to meet the standards set forth in this Code of Conduct, including but not limited to revoking the violating parties’ credentials without refund.
Please contact GENSIX Administration (firstname.lastname@example.org), if you believe you’ve observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and GENSIX will work to assess the situation and to respond as soon as possible. Please remember that notifying GENSIX does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement.
All violations of the law should be reported to local law enforcement. For emergencies, immediately dial 9-1-1, or non-emergencies, the local Police Department.
